157,000 people visit Chelsea, the world’s most famous flower show, and we are delighted to have been chosen to create a small urban garden for the 'Unexpected Gardener’.
The designer of our garden, Jo Thompson, is a Chelsea medal winner and has created a garden for a stylish mature gentleman and keen gardener who, although finding gardening slightly more challenging physically than in the past, does not want to compromise his design choices.
Thrive's disabled gardeners are going to be involved in our Chelsea garden right from the start and will be growing some of the plants we'll need for the Show at our Battersea and Reading Garden Projects. At the end of the show, we are planning to rebuild the Chelsea garden at the Thrive Trunkwell Garden Project, Reading.
