Lightweight centre tread fork and spade
These tools have been designed so that your foot presses down in the centre of the tool to maximise the force and give a more balanced work action. The oval shaped shafts on these lightweight versions make these tool much lighter and therefore easier to use than standard large spades and forks.
The soft grip handles will be helpful if you use one hand or have a weak grip. If you use both hands, the wide shape of the grip allows you to push down or steady the tool with both hands at once.
The centre tread is wide for extra comfort and ease of use and the shafts are slightly curved to give a more balanced work action.
